People often underestimate the power of a building or of space.

Interior design wields a profound influence. It shapes daily experiences, alters emotions, and nurtures meaningful connections people have with themselves and with others.

For the latter half of my career, I've specialized in out-of-state multi-family amenities, which means I rarely witness the direct impact on residents firsthand. Yet, if I can find one positive of social media & the internet, it’s that I have been able to read reviews and shared stories from residents who articulate how much they love the clubhouse amenities or the gym. It’s been very gratifying from afar and reaffirms the difference I’ve been able to make, which is all I ever really wanted in life.

Closer to home in Sarasota where I live, I've had the privilege of leading or collaborating on numerous condominium lobby renovations where I have witnessed the positive impact first hand. These projects breathe new life into outdated, neglected amenities, that then breathes new life to the residents and staff. It literally uplifts the entire community. These lobbies evolve from simple entry points into vibrant social engagement opportunities, instilling a deep sense of belonging and pride that enriches the whole. It’s powerful.

I’ve also designed a few restaurants here in Sarasota as well, including the renovation of almost every Gecko’s with the Mikes… which was such a great time with such good people. They understand well how a thoughtfully curated ambiance directly boosts their customer experience, who they value the most, by delivering environments that are welcoming, and unforgettable. Satisfied guests stay longer, visit repeatedly, and spread the word, fueling revenue streams and forging lasting loyalty.
